CUSSS 2019

Where & When

The 2019 Carolina Undergraduate Social Science Symposium will be held at Newberry College in Newberry, SC. It is sponsored by SCSA and the Social Justice Organization at Newberry College. Symposium organizers are Dr. Vinetta Witt and Dr. Sara Peters of Newberry College. The symposium provides undergraduate students the opportunity to present their research at a professional meeting. Presentations in any area of social science are welcome.

The conference will begin with an exciting keynote address at 7 PM on Thursday, April 11. On Friday, April 12, students whose abstracts are accepted will give a 10-12-minute presentation of their research or present in a poster session. All presenters will receive certificates of participation. The two best papers and two best posters will receive a certificate of excellence in undergraduate research and a cash prize.
