How to Apply:

To apply for this award, please submit the following items:

Brief cover letter that introduces the applicant to the committee and describes research, scholarship, or creative endeavors conducted within the last three years only.
Curriculum Vitae.
One letter of recommendation from a colleague familiar with the nominee’s research.
Supporting documentation such as a PDF of no more than one published article or book chapter, or other visual material that demonstrates excellence.

Please scan all documents into a single PDF file in the order listed above and email the

attachment to Dr. Colby King (colbyrking@gmail.com). Submissions must be received

by 11:59PM EST on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Include the phrase "SCSA Award

Nomination" in the subject line of your e-mail.

Selection Process: Applications will be reviewed by the SCSA Awards Committee.

Award Recognition: The winner will be announced at the 2025 SCSA Annual Meeting

and will receive recognition in the organization's newsletter and on the website. The

recipient will also receive a cash award and plaque. It is expected that the winner will
